  • RFB/RFP solicitation notices are also listed on the County's web site by selecting "Current Bids".

How Can I Receive Competitive Contract Information?

  • A list of current RFB's, RFP's, and RFQ's will be displayed on the Purchasing website, under "Current Bids”.
  • Specifications may be requested by contacting the Purchasing department directly or download form from website under the “Current Bids” Tab.

At this time there is no allowance or web site for the RECEIPT of RFB's/RFP's by facsimile.

May I Submit a Late Competitive Contract Response?

Gregg County does not accept late sealed bids/competitive sealed proposals. The time/date stamp clock in the Gregg County Purchasing Department, located at 101 East Methvin Street, Suite 205, Longview, Texas 75601 shall be the official time of receipt for all Request for Bids (RFB) and Request for Proposals (RFP). RFB's and/or RFP's received after submission deadline shall be returned unopened and will be considered void and unacceptable.

When Can I See a Buyer or Contract Administrator?

Gregg County Purchasing Department personnel are available Monday through Friday from 8:30A.M to 4:30P.M., However, due to workloads it is advisable to call ahead for an appointment.
